About

A first visit only scratches the surface.

Untold Peru was born from the feeling that a first visit only scratches the surface. Beyond the famous landmarks lies a country of extraordinary places, unanswered questions, and living traditions. We explore the connections between ancient landscapes and everyday life, bringing together history, curiosity, and the experience of discovering Peru more deeply.

What we stand for

Curiosity over certainty
We ask questions openly and say clearly when the answer isn't known.
Respect
For Peru's ancient civilisations and for the living communities who carry their heritage today.
Unusual questions
We're willing to explore alternative ideas — and to label them honestly as theories.
Attention, not sightseeing
Travel that rewards slowing down, listening and returning.

Kindred projects

Two projects sit close to this one. Both grew out of the same questions I keep carrying with me through Peru — one turned inward, one turned toward the body.

Neroli Peru

Some of the unseen realms we write about are explored from the inside rather than from a distance. When people tell me they want to ask questions of other-dimensional beings and step into that interdimensional space, ceremony is where I point them and Neroli Peru holds those private ceremonies here in Peru, with high quality ayahuasca.

Clove Shinn

The medicinal side of everything Untold Peru is asking. What are/were indigenous Peruvian's utilizing as their medicine? How has that helped them live a better life? So often the answer sits in traditional treatments and in the ability to recognize patterns. This is the work Clove Shinn does with individuals, with the knowledge she learned here in Peru.
